Asbestos Insurers Hike Reserves
Some insurers are reacting to additional asbestos exposures by increasing reserve levels.
In 1999, the insurers listed below increased their estimate of ultimate asbestos costs by the following amounts:
CNA Insurance Companies: $562 million.
