Anti-Spamming Bills Debated


Insurers are praising the U.S. House Judiciary Committee for approving a narrowly-drawn “anti-spamming” bill they say will not disrupt legitimate communications between businesses and their customers.

Earlier this year, the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee approved a broader version of anti-spamming legislation that insurers and other business groups say would disrupt legitimate electronic commerce.
