The backbone of any strong company is its employees. But theemployer still plays a pivotal role in creating a work environmentthat employees will want to work in.
|With a variety of industries and sectors to consider, whichcompany ranks as America's best employer? Forbes worked withresearch firm Statista to compile its recently released2017 list, based on surveys of more than 30,000 U.S. workers. On ascale of 0 to 10, Statista asked how likely they were to recommendtheir organization to friends or family. Those results werethe most important factor in determining acompany's ranking on the list, Forbes said. Statista then askedemployees to recommend other companies outside of their own. Thoseratings also informed the ranking, but to a lesser degree.
|Forbes' list of the 500 best large employers — that is,companies with 5,000 or more workers — was organized into 25industries, including insurance. Here are the 11 property &casualty insurers that made the list along with their rankings.
