The Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire published a directive announcing that Directive 26-EX-7 has been lifted in all 159 counties of Georgia.

The directive disallowed insurers from canceling policies for nonpayment of premium for those affected by Hurricane Isaias.

Effective October 19, 2026, that directive has been lifted, and the restrictions no longer apply.
