Hurricane and Flood Articles

Hurricane season begins June 1 and runs until November 30. While most hurricanes don't develop until later in the season, it's always a good idea to be prepared. Therefore, we present a list of many of the FC&S flood and hurricane articles and Litigation Watches that you might find helpful as the season develops. We've included articles as well addressing flood preparations; there is time for many to acquire flood coverage and prepare for the worst before the season gets into full swing. Once a hurricane hits an area, it's common for the insurance department to issue emergency orders regarding adjuster licensing, additional living expense payments, inventories, and other concerns. We will publish articles with links to those orders as they occur. They can be found under Resources > Administrative Notices.
