The coverage for Other Structures reads as follows:COVERAGE B -- Other Structures
We cover other structures on the residence premises set apart from the dwelling by clear space. This includes structures connected to the dwelling by only a fence, utility line, or similar connection.
As long as the dock and boat lift are permanently installed, they would be considered other structures and covered under part A and B.
If the boat lift is a portable lift that can be pulled out of the water and taken to other locations, that would be considered personal property and fall under Coverage C. As such, the lift would be limited to $1,500 since it is watercraft equipment and falls under the Special Limit of Liability. Remember that Coverage C is named perils, and falling objects is a named peril so there would be coverage for the damage caused by the tree.
