The Louisiana Department of Insurance published a bulletin announcing that Directive 224 has been rescinded.

Directive 224 was issued on July 12, 2024, and asked insurers to complete the homeowners' insurance policies data calls and the commercial lines property policies data calls. The data calls requested data for the 2024 hurricane season.

The Department has received enough information in order to adequately monitor the homeowners' and commercial lines property markets. As such, Directive 224 is no longer necessary and has been rescinded.

The bulletin can be found here.
