A former agent pleaded guilty to one count of felony insurance fraud after an investigation showed that he forged customers signatures in order to obtain commissions on policies the customers had not asked for or authorized. He was sentenced to three years in prison which was suspended in favor of three years of supervised probation. He is to serve four days in jail, complete 40 hours of community service, and pay restitution and fines.
