Senate Bill 562 creates a home damage mitigation and resiliency program. The program is designed to help property owners strengthen their homes against damage, which should lead to a more stable property insurance market. The bill is effective August 31, 2026.
House Bill 1197 implements technical corrections across the state's insurance laws to improve clarity, consistency, and administrative efficiency. The bill is effective January 1, 2027.
House Bill 1194 establishes credits for specific insurer assessments and updates related criminal gambling statutes. The bill is effective September 13, 2026.
