After pleading guilty to the charge of insurance fraud, a man was sentenced to 16 months in prison and 12 months probation. He filed a claim with his insurer for damage to his vehicle from an accident. What he failed to tell the insurer was that the damage was intentionally caused when the man was fleeing from the police during a traffic stop.
