The Idaho Department of Insurance published a bulletin informing insurers of a property insurance market data call, as required under Idaho Code.

The purpose of the data call is to collect policy and claims information to be able to conduct an analysis of the property insurance market in the state. The data call applies to eligible insurers authorized to write homeowners and dwelling fire property insurance coverage in the state.

Insurers who wrote at least $50,000 in homeowners direct written premiums on their Annual Statement in any year from 2022 through 2025, or insurers who wrote at least $50,000 in premium for the data requested by the data call in any year from 2022 through 2025, must respond.

The data call must be submitted electronically via SFTP directly to ISO; email is not accepted. The reporting deadline is May 30, 2026.
