A woman was arrested and charged with one count of insurance fraud and presenting false information which is a Class D felony after an investigation into a fraudulent insurance claim by the Iowa Insurance Division's Fraud Bureau. The woman submitted a claim to her auto insurer for collision damage to her vehicle. The investigation determined that at the time of the accident, the woman did not have an active policy.
