A cybersecurity breach was reported by Conduent Business Services in January 2025. An unauthorized third party accessed a portion of Conduent's network, and affected files contain names, addresses, and social security numbers.

Conduent has taken steps to notify insurers, members and law enforcement of the breach, and the department encourages insurers and others to determine if their customers have been affected. Insurers are encouraged to provide information on their websites about the breach and to alert affected individuals of the deadline to file for credit monitoring, and to provide a point of contact with the insurer or Conduent to address concerns.
