The Florida Surplus Lines Service Office (FSLSO) published an insurer compliance notice informing surplus lines agents that four surplus lines insurers are currently not in compliance with Florida statutes.
FL Stat § 626.931 requires surplus lines insurers writing business in Florida to file premium reports by the reporting due date. The following insurers are not in compliance as of the date of the notice, February 23, 2026:
- Everspan Indemnity Insurance Company – NAIC # 16882
- Fortegra Specialty Insurance Company – NAIC # 16823
- Navigators Specialty Insurance Company – NAIC # 36056
- Spinnaker Specialty Insurance Company – NAIC # 17045
If the companies are not in compliance by March 3, 2026, FSLSO will remove them from its filing platform.
