The Pennsylvania Insurance Department published a bulletin informing insurers of its annual workers' compensation Special Schedule "W" Data Call.

The premium and loss experience reported on the data call is used by the Department to determine assessments that fund the Subsequent Injury Fund, the Supersedeas Fund, the Workers' Compensation Administration Fund, the Uninsured Employers Guaranty Fund, and the Office of Small Business Advocate.

The premium and loss information within the deductible layer and premium and loss information reported net of deductible business is used by the Department in assessment calculations. An insurer's share of the total assessed amount is based on the information provided.

Insurers must complete the data call by April 16, 2026.There is a penalty of $100 per day past the deadline, and potentially a revocation of the authority to do business.More information can be found on the Department website.
