A man was arrested and charged with one count of Acting as an Adjuster without a License. The man was a manager for a roofing company, and tried to negotiate an insurance claim for a customer from which he and his company would benefit. In Iowa, contractors completing repairs are prohibited from acting as adjusters on the insurance claims for property they are working on.
