The Louisiana Department of Insurance published a bulletin reminding insurers of the commercial auto and private passenger auto data call. Insurers writing commercial automobile or private passenger automobile policies in the state are required to respond to the data call by Friday, December 5, 2025.

Insurers must request the data collection software by emailing [email protected] and assigning a company contact that will submit the data. Submissions should include data from January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2024. A user guide, a data call template, and other resources can be found here.

The data call does not apply to life insurers, health insurers, mono-line financial guaranty, mortgage guaranty, title, fidelity and surety, workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, professional liability insurers, or reinsurers.
