A man was arrested and charged with one count of insurance fraud and one count of attempting to obtain property by false pretenses, both felony offenses. The many filed a claim on his tenants policy for property damage which was later determined to be false. He substantiated the claim with multiple fictitious hotel receipts, collecting $1,214.78. He was released on a secured bond of $5,000.
