A man pleaded guilty to one count of insurance fraud - fraudulent submissions, and was sentenced to two years probation and $925 in civil penalties. The man obtained insurance for a vehicle after he had an auto accident, and then tried to use the new policy to pay for damages from the accident. He also made false statements to the company regarding the loss.
