A man has been sentenced to 7 -20 years' incarceration and ordered to pay $272,581 in restitution to the insurer for the damages to the home. The man was found guilty of one count of arson of an insured dwelling and one count of second-degree arson for setting fire to a home he owned. He then filed a claim with his insurance company in order to benefit from the claims settlement.
