The Alabama Department of Insurance published a news release announcing that they are conducting a data call on liability insurance coverage.

The purpose of the data call is to analyze the impact of liability insurance coverage on insurance claims costs in the state. The following insurers licensed in Alabama must respond to the data call: personal and commercial automobile, personal and commercial umbrella, commercial general liability (except homeowners), and medical and other professional liability coverage.

Risk and Regulatory Consulting LLC will send an electronic message to the insurers subject to the data call with instructions, documents, templates, and other guidance. Any questions can be sent to [email protected]
