A woman was arrested and charged with insurance fraud, which is a felony offense. The woman took out an auto policy in her monther’s name. Unfortunately, her mother had passed away more than month before the policy was applied for. She then filed a claim with the insurer, and claimed that her mother was ill and she was handling things for her. She was released on $10,000 unsecured bond.
