A man was arrested and charged with one count each of insurance fraud and attempting to obtain property by false pretenses. Both counts are felonies. The man made a claim to his insurer that his vehicle has been stolen from his yard and then wrecked. However, witnesses report that they saw the man leaving the scene of an accident.
