Would taxidermy items be covered under Coverage B, contents? If so, is there a limit? Should it be scheduled on a Scheduled Personal Property Endorsement? If so, what category?

Yes, taxidermied property would be considered personal property. The only way it would be considered part of the dwelling is if it was permanently attached to a wall and not removable, something that is highly unlikely. I don't know what form you're using but the ISO HO 00 03 does not have any special limits for taxidermied property.

Whether or not the property should be scheduled would depend on the value of the property and the insured's desire for coverage. If the personal property is covered on an actual cash value basis, as in the HO 00 03, the Personal Property Replacement Cost endorsement could be added to modify the settlement to replacement cost. The ISO HO 04 61 has a separate section for any property not otherwise listed, with a space for a description of the item and value. You would need to talk to underwriting about what documentation they would need and if they'd be willing to schedule such property.
