The Oklahoma Insurance Department (OID) published a press release announcing the second pilot launch of the Strengthen Oklahoma Homes program. The initial pilot launch provided 100 grants to applicants in eight eligible ZIP codes. An expansion later added two more eligible ZIP codes.
The second pilot launch will provide 250 grants and will be open to eligible homeowners who live in these nine zip codes:
- 73078 Piedmont
- 73012 West Edmond
- 73034 Edmond
- 73013 NW OKC
- 74106 North Tulsa
- 74055 Owasso
- 74010 Bristow
- 74066 Sapulpa
- 74017 Claremore/Foyil
OID plans to launch more pilots throughout the year with the goal of awarding 1,000 grants total.
