A woman was arrested and charged with insurance fraud, a felony offense. The Department of Insurance’s Criminal Investigations Division special agents stated that the woman filed a claim with her insurer for damage caused by gunfire on December 28, 2024. However, it was shown that she had filed the same claim with a different insurer months earlier. She was released on $20,000 unsecured bond.
