The Oklahoma Insurance Department (OID) published a press release announcing the expansion of the first pilot of the Strengthen Oklahoma Homes program.

The initial launch provided 100 grants to applicants in eight eligible ZIP codes. Two new ZIP codes are being added, for a total of ten eligible ZIP codes. Those include:

  • 73049 Jones
  • 73051 Lexington/Slaughterville
  • 73065 Newcastle
  • 73069 Norman
  • 73111 East OKC
  • 73127 West OKC
  • 73129 Southeast OKC
  • 73135 Southeast OKC/I-240
  • 73071 East Norman (NEW)
  • 73072 West Norman (NEW)
Interested homeowners who live in these ZIP codes can apply online immediately. The OID plans to launch additional pilots throughout the year and plans to award 1,000 grants total by the end of the year.
