The Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire published a bulletin calling for licensed attorneys and insurance adjusters to apply to join an arbitration panel.
The arbitration panel will be established to settle disputed property damage claims involving total loss for personal private passenger motor vehicle policies. The panel's arbitrators must consist of attorneys and insurance adjusters authorized and licensed in Georgia.
The application can be found here. Applicants should be ready to provide:
- Their legal name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Mailing address
- For attorneys, Georgia letter of good standing
- For attorneys, Georgia disciplinary history
- For adjusters, Georgia license number and national producer number
- Citizenship affidavit
