I was wondering if you see any exclusions or issues with a local cattle rancher leasing his livestock to public horse-cutting event taking place in Reno NV. We are concerned in the event there is third-party bodily injury as a result of our insureds livestock being in this event. I reviewed our Travelers Ag Policy and don't see anything that would exclude this coverage.

We see potential exclusions that could apply to an event under form FL T3 56 04 19, specifically the following exclusions:
Nonagricultural Business Activities This is a broad exclusion which excludes bodily injury and property damage arising out of any activity engaged in by an insured for monetary or other compensation, other than "farming" or "custom farming". These terms are explicitly defined in the form, with certain activities not included, one of which is: Farming does not include: a. Retail activity other than that described above … (which does not list any event type activities).
Use of Farm Tools, Farm Tractors And Trailers and Animals, which reads as follows: "Bodily injury" or "property damage" arising out of the ownership, use or maintenance of: … (2) draft animals or vehicles used with them: (a) under contract to others for a charge; or … (3) saddle animals: (a) rented to others by or for an insured; or (b) used in practicing for or participating in any exhibition or contest.
We do not see any coverage for liability for the insured's cattle being used in any type of event like the one you suggested. We would recommend contacting your underwriter to determine if that type of coverage could be added for this specific event, or other events if those are the norm for this business.
