The Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire published a press release announcing there will be a Catastrophe Claims Village in both Augusta and Valdosta on October 3rd and 4th. 

Agency staff have been deployed to organize the Claims Village and will be available to consumers to help file a claim or answer questions. There will be representatives from the Georgia Department of Insurance and major insurance carriers in attendance. Representatives from the Criminal Investigations Division will also be there to educate consumers on how to avoid scams and to investigate potential fraud.
