The South Carolina Department of Insurance published a media release announcing there will be an insurance claims village held in Greenville, South Carolina on October 3rd and 4th for consumers impacted by Hurricane Helene.
The claims village serves to assist consumers and provide remote claims services. Members of the South Carolina Department of Insurance Office of Consumer Services will be there to help consumers file claims and to answer questions. There will also be representatives from State Farm, USAA, Allstate, South Carolina Farm Bureau, Auto-Owners, GEICO, Travelers, Progressive, American Integrity, Heritage Insurance Companies, FEMA, and the SC Insurance Fraud Division attending.
