A woman pleaded guilty to one felony count of an attempted fraudulent insurance act and one felony count of making false information. After being in an auto accident, the woman made a claim and submitted fraudulent documentation to her insurance company for medical care and lost wages. She did not actually receive any medical care nor did she lose wages. She was sentenced to 18 months of probation with 10 months of underlying prison time if her probation is violated. She was also fined $500.
