A man was arrested and charged with the felonies of insurance fraud and attempting to obtain property by false pretense. The man told his insurance company that his vehicle sustained damage to his roof and GPS antenna five days after obtaining collision coverage on the vehicle in November 2023. The insurer learned from the car dealership that the vehicle had been serviced for that same damage before the insured obtained the insurance policy. He was released on $5,000 unsecured bond.
