A woman has been charged with 48 counts each of insurance fraud and forgery for submitting multiple claims under her pet's health insurance company. From 2019 to 2022 she submitted 48 claims of care from multiple vets for her dog. Upon investigation, it was discovered that she changed several invoices to reflect a larger amount than was actually charged, and added claims for visits that never occurred. A warrant for her arrest has been issued.
