A man has been charged with insurance fraud for claiming his lawnmower had been stolen. He received $19,000 for the claim. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that this was not his only lawnmower claim, and that the man had made at least eight fraudulent lawnmower theft claims between 2018 and 2021. He falsified documents and used phony names to accumulate $148,000 in insurance payments.
