A man has been arrested and charged with one count of insurance fraud, which is a felony in North Carolina. The man reported a car accident on July 2, 2023. The problem is that the policy was bought after the accident had already occurred, and the man claimed that the accident happened after he bought the policy. Warrants were issued for his arrest and he turned himself in and was released on $1,000 bond.
