A woman has been charged with insurance fraud and forgery after submitting false invoices for treatment to her insurance company following two different auto accidents. The first accident occurred in April of 2021, and she submitted an invoice from the hospital to the insurer for reimbursement. Upon investigation, it was discovered that she had not received treatment for any injury during the period claimed. Later in May of 2021 she again submitted a claim for a traffic accident and again made a claim for injuries which again were proved to be fraudulent.
