A contractor perpetrated multiple fraud schemes including staged vehicle accidents, including driving a U-haul into a convenience store, and deliberately flooding homes in order to submit fraudulent claims to insurance companies. The man has been found guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit fraud, eight counts of wire fraud, two counts of mail fraud, and four counts of money laundering. Sentencing is set for February 21, 2023.
