He had reported his vehicle stolen to local police, and the vehicle was found on the side of the road in a different location; the vehicle was on fire at the time of discovery. He submitted a claim to his insurer, and through the investigation, he admitted to setting the vehicle on fire and reporting it stolen because it had mechanical issues.
