A man is being charged with seven counts of insurance fraud and forgery for using blank invoices he received from a friend to falsify repair bills that he submitted to an insurance company for payment. The claims were submitted to the same insurer between February 2019 and April of 2020, and the company notified the insurance department of the suspicious claims. Investigators discovered that the man used a dealership employee to provide him with blank invoices that he filled out and submitted for the bogus claims.
