Two women have pleaded guilty to insurance fraud after claiming extensive personal property losses from a fire that destroyed the dwelling they were living in. One of the women made a claim for close to $200,000, while the other woman, who was renting a room at the dwelling, made a claim for $107,000. Upon investigation, it was discovered that none of the tenant's property was in the dwelling at the time of the loss. The owner of the property accepted a plea dea for five years of probation, while the tenant accepted a deal of probation for ten years.
