A man has been added to the state's Most Wanted list after failing to appear in court to face felony charges of filing a false insurance claim and attempted first-degree theft. The man owned a motorcycle and had purchased liability coverage only. After the vehicle was stolen, he went online and changed his coverage to add collision and comprehensive coverage. He then filed a claim stating that the vehicle had been stolen after he had changed his coverages. Through its investigation, the insurer verified that the vehicle was stolen 38 minutes before the man changed his coverages.
