We have a large partial fire loss on a Dwelling Fire policy that is for structure only, no contents coverage. Is there any contents coverage available in regards to moving, manipulation and storing of contents while the structure is being repaired? I appreciate your thoughts.

I'm looking at the ISO DP 00 03. One of the interesting things about insurance policies is that they say very little about the actual processing of claims; they detail coverage, duties of an insured and loss settlement, but don't deal with many things such as manipulation of contents; that is left to the individual carriers.

However one thing is fairly straightforward, and that is moving contents in order to make repairs to the dwelling. If the contents have to be moved in order for the dwelling to be repaired, then that removal and storage of contents is part of the repair. Likewise, if the contents would be at risk of damage because the roof or a wall is open to the environment, then the contents must be protected under the policy making the repairs.
