A man pled guilty to a charge of presenting false information after an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Division's Fraud Bureau determined he had provided false information in relation to a claim. The man claimed his vehicle had been stolen when it was actually involved in a single-car accident while the man was driving. He has received a five-year prison sentence and financial penalties have been suspended.
