A business owner has been indicted for hiding employees of various businesses under other companies in order to hide payroll and lower the workers compensation premiums for the companies. The deceit occurred from July 2009 to August 2016. He is charged with securing the execution of documents by deception with the intent to harm or defraud. He has been arrested and released on $20,000 bond. If convicted he could be sentenced up to 99 years in prison.
