An insured filed a claim for his Rolex Submariner watch that he claimed to have lost wakeboarding. The claim was for $14,753. The only hitch is that he didn't lose the watch, and twenty-one days after claiming that he lost it he sold it to a pawn shop for $8,750. When investigators discovered the watch had been sold they denied the claim and turned the case over to the Criminal Investigation Unit.
