An insured has been charged with arson for burning down his house. Before the fire he emailed his agent requesting that coverage limits for the home be increased by 57 percent and contents be increased to 75 percent. He is accused of putting pallets and wooden fence pieces throughout the house, pouring gasoline on them, and setting the house on fire. He has been arrested and is in jail.
