A Washington man plead guilty to felony charges of filing a false insurance claim for alleging that his vehicle had been stolen. Unfortunately for the man, the police located the vehicle the next day at a different house, where the insured had arranged to have the vehicle towed the day after he filed the claim. The claim was denied and referred to the state's fraud investigators. He received 150 days in jail and will pay a $500 victim compensation fee.
