QBE North America appointed Dan Moore as chief operating officer. In this role, he will lead claims, technology and operations and oversee communications and branding, with the goal of strengthening QBE's performance and customer-centered approach for delivering integrated risk management solutions.
Reporting to QBE North America CEO Todd Jones, Moore will also serve as a member of the company's executive committee.
Moore joined QBE in 2013 as senior vice president, claims services. He had been serving as the chief operating officer on an interim basis since January 30 of this year. Before that, he served as head of operations since August 2018.
"Since [Dan] joined QBE in 2013, he has proven himself as an effective leader who rallies his teams and delivers outstanding results," Jones said in a statement. "With Dan as COO, we're very excited about the additional progress we can make to serve our customers more efficiently and effectively while delivering superior business results."
