Liberty Mutual Insurance has named Edward Peña as senior vice-president and treasurer. Peña began his Liberty Mutual career as vice-president and director of investor relations in 2017. In 2019 he was given additional responsibilities with the company. Before joining Liberty Mutual, he held a role at J.P. Morgan, Corporate Treasury, and served as vice-president of finance at ProSight Specialty Insurance.

Peña succeeds Laurance H.S. Yahia, who has announced that his retirement will be effective on April 3, 2020.
